Requirements for Participation
- Our youth lesson program is open to all children ages 5–18 with a weight limit under 220 pounds. Seeds of Hope Youth Ranch’s volunteers work with any child willing and wanting to be here.
- Volunteer leaders work one-on-one with each child that comes in, meeting their individual needs. While we do not wish to turn any child away, there are a limited number of youth lessons available each week.
- Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a lesson for every child who wants one, although, Seeds of Hope Youth Ranch does try our best to make it possible. It is important to be on time for your lesson, but if you are unable to make it please text or call (218) 428-3580 at least one hour prior to your lesson time. At this time we “require” your children to be able to get on a horse and sit independently in the saddle.
- To keep all of our volunteers and participants safe, Seeds of Hope Youth Ranch is now requiring a face covering to be worn at all times by anyone over the age of 10 once you arrive. We do not have masks available for your use, please remember to bring your own. Contact us in advance with any questions.
Seeds of Hope Youth Ranch has always offered our lessons free of charge and operating costs
